Bonjour ! (Hello!)

I am so glad we found each other! I am an interior designer located in the DC/MD/VA metropolitan region. This blog is geared towards all-things interior design… with a slant. What do I mean by that? My intention is to offer you, my readers, something different. I want to focus on providing tips and tricks that help make your home projects effortless and remarkably successful. In a nutshell, this blog is about problem solving.

I understand that I am a new entrant into the arena of interior design blogging – this means that much has already been said about interior design. I also know that your time is invaluable. For these two reasons, my goal is to get my point across fast. Therefore, postings on this blog will be short and to the point as no one has time to waste on reading long paragraphs about the things they probably already know.

That said, I will also write about home staging and home organizing. The latter, in particular, is a subset of interior design. It may sometimes be impractical to separate both. To this mix and at a later time, I will discuss topics about etiquette/manners, easy entertaining, and some DIY projects. I will seldom report on trends, as my tastes in home design and personal style are timeless. Truth be told, I do not believe in trends.
